Reference Architecture
A multi-account landing zone with a shared services hub VPC and dev, QA and prod spoke VPCs interconnected through Transit Gateway. AWS Global Accelerator sits at the edge, steering traffic to the healthiest regional endpoint over the AWS global network for predictable latency and fast failover.
Shared services — DNS, egress inspection, IAM tooling, monitoring. Central Transit Gateway attachment.
Isolated per-environment workloads on EKS, with route tables restricting east-west traffic and mandatory inspection through the hub.
Anycast static IPs at 100+ edge locations, TCP/UDP health checks, and sub-minute failover between regional endpoint groups.
